Ashley Todd by fetys

By now most of you have heard about face carvin' crazy cakes Ashley Todd and her scheme to sway the election by lying about being attacked by an Obama supporter. Sarah Palin probably feels like an ass for rushing to make a personal phone call to Ashley before waiting for actual proof of her claims. Even Obama's camp was duped. According to a Pittsburgh news outlet, they released a statement that said their "thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice." Not surprisingly, a lot of right-wing bloggers jumped at the opportunity to slander the Obama campaign - Dan Riehl at riehlworldview.com posted under the headline “Thugs for change,” claiming that “Obama’s run his campaign just like a street thug out of Chicago. Now we get to see what some of his worst supporters are like.” Noel Sheppard at newsbusters.org chastized AP for daring to be skeptical of the initial report. He wanted to know why the AP didn’t report that the alleged perp was black. “Obama’s run his campaign just like a street thug out of Chicago"?????? Insisting that the detail about the perp allegedly being black be shared in the public record????? Todd is now facing charges for filing a false police report and will be spending the weekend behind bars awaiting a psychiatric evaluation on Monday. Her MySpace page is now set to private but there's a cached version available here. In this age of zero privacy, it's just as creepy how easy it is to pry through the personal histories of all people - law breakers or not. Do you want to create change but aren't into racist pranks or carving your face up? Here's a clever (and sane) way to help sway an election - make your own awesome political commercial! You won't be breaking any laws or suffer permanent tissue damage. This is brought to you by 60Frames Entertainment:
